We had this chat back when I was looking to upgrade... I went with a i5 instead of i7. Was a 100 difference then, looks like 80 now. I use to like having the top of the line, now adays I perfer the one step down and save my self the cash. I rather upgrade in a year or two and I feel less attached to the hardware and it performs just a well. This is my suggestion.

129.99 AROCK Board - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813157271
( I was really worried about using this brand. Thunder talked me into it and I've loved it.)
219.99 2500K - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6819115072
46.99 - Gskill Mem - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820231314
299 - Nvid 570 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814130593
50 - Case - Cheap case but I own 3 of these now. For $50, it's a steal. It use to have a MIR.
90 after MIR - PS - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817139021

Total = 835.97

On your HDD - I suggest you use your current disk and wait tell you see a slickdeal on a SSD. 120GB goes fast.

ATI is good too, but unfortunately not with WoW or what seems to be Star Wars.

However, I would find out what cards work and don't work with Star Wars as Speedy and Logii had FPS issues and both of them were using NVidia Video Cards.
